Tree Medicine Online Class


This foundational online class will focus on trees growing in eastern and central North America, including native, non-native, invasive – plus well known trees worldwide that you may buy from a supplier. We will discuss ethical harvesting – as well as how to sustainably and responsibly make your own medicines from trees.

4 sessions, 1.5 hours each, January 20, 27, February 3 and 10th. 7-8:30 ET

17+ major and more common trees plus 30 or more less common trees.

We will discuss and demonstrate teas, alcohol tinctures, vinegars, oxymels, oil and salves and compresses.

Simple chemistry, constituents, and actions of bark, seeds, leaves, fruit and roots.

Recipe, herbal formulas and creative and traditional methods for  processing tree medicines

Go beyond the commercially available tree medicines and to note that many trees have moved around the world. 

The spiritual and vibrational connections  

Tree medicine in our kitchens will get their mention as time permits

Q & A during each session. Text photos of trees for Identification and discussion.

All sessions recorded in video and audio with PDF files of reference and resources.  You get to keep all those.
